Ebenezer takes great pride in the people God has sent to lead our flock.
While staff at Ebenezer may receive compensation for services, all staff are bi-vocational and manage traditional careers alongside their church obligations.
Eugene Kilgore, Pastor – Serving since 1998, and hailing from Whitwell, TN, Pastor Eugene Kilgore is the lead teaching pastor of Ebenezer Baptist Church and Regional Safety Manager for Kenco Group. Along with wife Alisa, their family includes sons Mason and Morgan and daughter Marlee.
Justin McAfee, Youth Pastor – Justin is a lifelong member, and has been teaching the teens and young adults at Ebenezer since 2014. He currently works in cybersecurity for a global technology firm. He is married to Hailey, and they have three daughters, Lydia, Ruth, and Naomi. Justin received his ordination in the spring of 2023.
Morgan Kilgore, Music Director – Morgan has been a lifelong member of Ebenezer, and has a passion for music that led him to accept his position in 2022. He has a love for traditional hymns, and continues to combine both traditional and modern music in Sunday services.
Louise Smith, Treasurer – Serving since 2010, Treasurer Louise Smith acts as the coordinator of church funds and distribution. Her integrity has been unwavering, and it is with great trust that Louise coordinates the collection and use of church funds for both normal operations and community benevolence.
